The gathering showcased the capacity, strength, and innovation, in the African cancer space, particularly in research and clinical trials. There is significant progress in the collective goal of eliminating global cancer disparity.
As a longstanding member of AORTIC- Africa, who has voiced concern about the impact of the organization in recent years, I am pleased to see it is taking its place as a leader and indeed the link between Africa and the rest of the world.
Congratulations again and I look forward to continued collaborations and progress in the fight, united against cancer.
